As always, we at Hotel Hochschober use the annual closing period in April/May 2025 to renovate existing features and create something new. Here’s an overview of the upcoming structural changes.
“Perfection lies in never being complete,” says the Japanese Wabi-Sabi principle. It perfectly applies to hotel rooms, which need to be renewed every seven to ten years. That’s why we’re continuously renovating and redesigning rooms at Hotel Hochschober. This year, it’s time for 15 of our much-loved bay window rooms and three maisonette suites – each with two bedrooms – to get a fresh update. From the end of May 2025, these rooms will feature oak wood floors, whitewashed oak furniture, and interiors in our distinctive Hochschober style – offering a renewed sense of comfort. The bathrooms in these rooms have already been upgraded with double washbasins and spacious showers.
Our Hochschober Shop next to the reception will also appear in a new light. An organic wood design lends the space a refined atmosphere and enhances the shopping experience. New in the assortment: hoodies, T-shirts, and sportswear in the Hochschober style.
Additionally, we’re carrying out a range of refurbishment works and giving the wellness area a deep clean.
Another exciting project is the start of construction for our new staff residence “Wilfried,” located near the valley station of the Panoramabahn. In the first phase, 9 single rooms and 4 double rooms will be built. By 2026, once complete, the building will offer beautiful, spacious rooms with balconies for 45 team members, along with shared spaces for training and leisure activities. A photovoltaic system on the roof will provide eco-friendly energy.
